Continuing our reflection on the works CES completed in 2018, we were contacted by Project Link LTD in regards to a commission for Matthew Stevens in St Ives. The client was looking for provision of the main steel structure of a new building on the site. Along with a steel spiral staircase and a mezzanine floor to be placed in the new building.
CES was initially contacted in May 2018.
The first priority for this job would be the main steel framework. This needed to be completed quickly and efficiently to ensure the remainder of the project could run smoothly. Providing the box section posts and poles and erecting them into position to create the skeleton of the building. Once these were in place, the work was able to begin on the staircases.
CES custom built both a spiral and two straight staircases for different areas within the business grounds. The spiral staircase was measured, built and fitted into an indoor space. The straight staircases was fitted outdoors leading up to concrete levels.
Both style of staircase were made with stainless steel hand rails and secure fixtures. Allowing for safety and security around the structures.
